How I built it
Upgraded Landscaping
×
A villa landscaping company in Dubai needed a site that sells a premium service and gets people booking a free consultation. These are the steps I took, from first idea to live site.
Idea to live About 6 weeks
Build days 8
Pages 8, plus one per service
Photos 78
Plan
Discovery The goal was one action: get Dubai villa owners to book a free consultation.
Research The site speaks to villa owners in areas like Dubai Hills and Arabian Ranches who have been let down by a contractor before.
Sitemap and structure I planned 8 main pages plus one for each service. A How We Work page explains the staged payments up front.
Mockups The site needed to go live quickly, so I skipped wireframes and went straight to full page mockups.
Make
Content and copy I wrote the pages in the client's own words and tidied the services and reviews before launch.
Visual design Headings and buttons use the orange from the company's logo. New hero photos and an environmental section came in the design pass.
Build Each service page pulls its prices and common questions from a database, so they change in one place.
Features The quote form saves each enquiry with its photos and emails the team. Visitors also get a WhatsApp button and a map of service areas.
Launch
SEO basics Every page is built in advance with its own title and description, and a sitemap lists all 11 pages for Google.
Testing Testing caught photos that broke on the live server and attachments that failed to send. I fixed both before launch.
Launch I connected the domain and the site went live on upgradedlandscaping.ae.
After launch I later moved the site to Vercel hosting.
